Los Angeles - Los Angeles Race Fantastique (“LARF”), a scavenger-hunt race production company, is producing a fundraiser in favor of Marriage Equality on April 18, 2010. Working in teams of 4 or 5, players will race around Los Angeles to defeat a fictional Ballot Proposition, deciphering clues provided primarily through videos featuring a wide variety of celebrities, including Neil Patrick Harris, Kristin Chenoweth, Jeff Probst, Steven Weber, Lisa Loeb and others.

Bob Glouberman, Co-founder of LARF, says “We thought it would be fun to engage racers in a satirical look at the inequality created by California’s Proposition 8 by focusing on a completely fictitious Ballot Measure – Prop 8A – that would prevent our hero, conveniently named “LARF,” from marrying. It’s going to be a great interactive experience: racers will get a unique combination of three elements – a humorous look at the subject matter, brain-busting clues, and an amazing array of celebrities in the filmed clues.”

Proceeds from the April 18th event will be donated to the Williams Institute at UCLA Law SchoolThe Institute, a non-partisan think tank dedicated to providing research, ideas, education, and information on sexual orientation law and public policy, has been widely cited in the national media, and has trained thousands of lawyers, judges and members of the public.

“We’re really grateful to LARF for their generous offer to produce this race,” says Williams Institute Executive Director Brad Sears. “We appreciate the humor and spirit of the race they’re putting together, and welcome the opportunity to introduce the Williams Institute to a whole new group of individuals who may not have thought about the harm caused by false stereotypes and misinformation about same-sex couples and their families. And, since much of our work is serious and academic, it’ll be great to have the LARF race infuse a little levity into the discussions.”

Celebrities providing filmed clues include Neil Patrick Harris, Kristin Chenoweth, Jeff Probst, Steven Weber, Kathy Najimy, Camryn Manheim, Anthony LaPaglia,Kelli Williams, Rachel Harris, Michael Hitchcock, Tim BagleyLisa LoebKyle GassMartin StarrMike WhiteJennifer Elise Cox, Jillian Armanante, Joanna Garcia, and some additional surprise guests.

Check out Lisa's Interview on www.Whattoexpect.com

Grammy® nominated singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb is one of my all time favorite artists (her song “Stay” was my teenage anthem and on repeat non stop). Not only that, but she has countless film credits under her stylish belt, including one opposite Oscar-winning actor Geoffrey Rush in the movie “House On Haunted Hill”. She also is a mommy! So I had to ask her some beauty questions for you guys (which she was able to answer while her daughter was napping... how cute is that?)

How has your morning and evening skin care routine changed since becoming a mama?
No, it's still the same. I always use Yonka Cleansingcreme night and day, followed by ElastineNuit (night moisturizing lotion) at night or Elta 45 sunscreen and YonkaPamplemousse, daytime moisturizing cream during the day. Once or twice a week I try to do a quick face peel at home with YonkaGomage 303 and/or a YonkaMudmask. When I do the mud, I apply moisturizer first, then mud, then one layer of Kleenex tissue, which I wet with a Yonka non-alcohol toner to keep it moist for about 15 minutes. I look like a zombie, but I can walk around the house and do other things for 15 minutes before I wash off the mud. It's especially important to use moisturizer and sunscreen with all the walks I take outside with my baby...
